Our Return Policy

At Steamclean Auto Detailing, we stand behind the quality of our products. This Return Policy applies to physical products purchased from us, including our Saltmelt Pro product line.

Products Covered

This policy applies to the following products:

  • Saltmelt Pro Carpet & Mat Protectant: Repels Salt, Dirt and Spills
  • Saltmelt Pro Salt Residue Remover: Dissolves Tough Salt Stains

Return Eligibility

We accept returns ONLY for damaged products. Products must meet the following criteria to be eligible for return:

  • The product was damaged during shipping or manufacturing
  • The damage is reported within 7 days of delivery
  • The product is in its original packaging (if possible)
  • Photographic evidence of the damage is provided

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are NOT eligible for return:

  • Products that are not damaged
  • Products opened or used beyond initial inspection
  • Products with broken seals (unless damaged upon arrival)
  • Products returned after 7 days from delivery date
  • Products without proof of purchase

How to Report Damaged Products

If you receive a damaged product, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us Immediately: Call us at (651) 508-2109 or email [email protected] within 7 days of delivery
  2. Provide Order Details: Include your order number, product name, and description of the damage
  3. Submit Photos: Email clear photos showing the damage to the product and packaging
  4. Await Approval: Our team will review your claim within 2-3 business days and provide return instructions if approved

Refund Process

Once your return is approved and received, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

  • Full refund for damaged products (including shipping costs)
  • Option for replacement product at no additional charge
  • Credit card refunds may take 7-10 business days to appear on your statement

Exchanges

For damaged products, we offer free replacements. We will ship a replacement product at no additional cost once your damaged item claim is approved.

Return Shipping

For approved returns of damaged products:

  • We will provide a prepaid return shipping label
  • You are not responsible for return shipping costs
  • Package the product securely using the original packaging if possible
  • Ship within 5 business days of receiving return authorization

Important Notes

  • This return policy applies only to physical products, not detailing services
  • All returns must be authorized in advance - do not ship products without approval
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet our policy criteria
  • Customers are responsible for the product until it arrives at our facility
